Female Roe deer grazing at the Meadow near the hide. I was approaching and got spotted but managed to get this nice face shot. There are 2 young ones in the area so i will try and get a photo of them.

Redwing Arrived

There have been recent sightings of 2 young Roe deer in the meadow near to the Hide. Great news as the Fawn died last year. If you sit in the Hide they graze to the left of the Hide and the best time would be Dawn or Dusk.

Autumn events have started, look out for ripe and falling fruit. Autumn fungi Autumn is the best time to go fungi spotting in the woods and fields, along hedgerows, in your local park. Green Woodpecker sighting.

Goldcrest and TreeCreeper

Nice light today and as i sat Carving something caught my eye, a Treecreeper going up and down a Silver Birch, they wont keep still but got one shot. Then shortly after a Goldcrest started moving in the Pine Tree and this little bird never stays still.
