Goodenbergh WelcomeGoodenbergh Country Holiday Home Park is set amidst woodland and open fields. It is located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Trough of Bowland. The Lake District, Morecambe, Blackpool and Grange over Sands are all within easy reach.

Goodenbergh Caravan Holiday Park is ideally located for experiencing the countryside and exploring the local nature trails.

The market town of High Bentham is about 4 miles away which is situated in North Yorkshire, the nearest market towns are Settle and Skipton, both of which are worthy of a visit, especially if you enjoy historic monuments, museums and castles.

The Settle to Carlisle scenic railway journey can be boarded in Settle.

There are many pretty villages in the area such as Dent with its cobble streets and Kirby Lonsdale with its lovely market square and annual victorian fayre close by.

In High Bentham, you will find a Spar and a Co-Op, which are both open until late. There are four public houses, a Chinese and an Indian take away, there is also a fish and chip shop and a chemist. High Bentham offers many traditional shops to cater for everything else you may need.

Also close by is a fantastic 18 hole golf course, set in wonderful countryside with breath taking views. Visit www.benthamgolfclub.co.uk.

The park comprises of:

  • We have a beautiful woodland walk with signs around the way telling you what to look out for i.e.: plant life, birds, pond life etc and there are quiz leaflets available in the office.

Pets which are well behaved are very welcome, but should always be kept under control. There are bins provided around the park for you to use  i.e. poop scoop, bags are available at reception. There is always a lot of different livestock  grazing in many of the fields surrounding the park, and Dogs should be kept on a lead at all times unless the field is empty when they may run free.

We operate a barrier system on the park to give our clients peace of mind.

CCTV operates 24/7 and includes a vehicle reconstruction system.

Goodenbergh Farm & Alpacas:

Down in the farm you will find pigs, goats, donkeys along with Alpacas.

Alpacas are a smaller version of the llama these animals originate from Peru and the high Andes, we keep them for their fibre (fleece) which is shorn once a year and  made into various garments i.e.: gloves, hats, scarves and the most beautiful throws.
The fleece is very warm with 22 different natural colours and is second only to silk in strength.
