We at back in Thornton ready to move house this Tuesday but I will be back up maybe at the weekend.
Nest Boxes need to be put up now if your planning on putting any up. Please check any nest boxes for leaks, as 3 I put up 3 years ago have rotted.
Great news that the nest box I made and put a camera up in has Tree Sparrows in it checking it out and roosting in it.

The Owl project I started 3 years ago is not working due to to many Grey Squirrels so I am approaching it in another way. I need to make more boxes to give the Owls a better chance of a nest site.
Between decorating I will be making 2 new Owl boxes from some ply I found in the attic when clearing out. The boxes will be put up near the hide as the activity from the Tawny is promising.

I put the wildlife camera up yesterday on the Tower facing the telegraph pole so lets hope we get something.
