When i went to the hide i checked the sighting board only to find that a Redstart had been seen at the Hide the week before. I sat there for 20 mins and to my left in the trees i saw my first Male Redstart sitting watching me but i soon as i looked at it it flew off, a very shy bird feeding on insects in the trees i am not sure if it will be a regular visitor and cant see it feeding in the feeding area. It would be great if it was to nest close by and stay round a while. The photo is from the RSPB website.
