The Bird Hide is up and running.
The new Bird Hide was finished on Friday and is available to anyone interested in studying or photographing birds and wildlife. On my first visit on Saturday i observed a Common Buzzard, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Lessor Redpoll, Goldfinch, Coal Tit, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Robin, Long Tailed Tit, Tree Creeper, Chaffinch, Grey Heron all in a few hours. The hide as 4 windows for viewing with a Camouflage net covering them, so you can move about inside without scaring the birds. I have removed one window panel to enable anyone with a camera to take photographs. I am more than happy to show anyone around you wishes to visit the hide, and see the birds up close.
