First seen on Easter weekend the Ducklings have grown into nice healthy Adult Ducks. Most of there food comes from the pond but a few people have been giving them bird seed which seems to have improved their growth. They practice to try and fly, and i had heard from people who live near the pond that they do this twice a day. So on Friday 3rd June i sat next to the pond and waited in the sunshine. They sleep for short periods of time followed by a feeding period on the bottom of the pond, then all of a sudden one starts to flap its wings then all 7 join in and then one will skim across the water. A few get of the water for a few seconds and it was a great site to see. Don’t think it will be long before the first one takes to the Skies.
