I arrived back at Goodenbergh Wednesday to find the trees had turned from being bare to having all their leaves on, plants had grown, but i did notice how quiet it was outside our van on the amount of birds there was. Must be all sitting on eggs and with the hot weather there will be plenty of natural food about.
First stop was the pond to see if the Mallard young were still there and to my shock they were, they came to me for some seed. I fed them and the as i did noticed some blue markings in the wings. Not long now till they fledge so i will need to keep an eye out for them everyday.
