On arriving back from holiday i had to see if the Mallard Ducklings had left, great news as when i got to the pond 7 big Ducklings came hobbling out the reeds to greet me, or for food that i had in a bag. When i was feeding them i noticed that one had a White ring round its neck so this looks like a male, the others had a small blue patches of feathers half way down the flight feathers so i think these are female. They all look in good health so it wont be long now for them to 
Fledge.
