Up at 5 on the Moors for some Car Photography. First thing I came across was a Short Eared Owl but no picture, then as I drove down a lane with a wall either side of me I spotted a Little Owl sitting in the Sun. I kept the engine running and as I was on a hill I let the car go slowly down so as to get nearer to it. I got within 15 feet away and got a lovely picture of my first Little Owl for 3 years.
After that I looked for the Barn Owl but as I was waiting a Curlew was making a strange call, then I spotted her young coming through he long grass. All from the Car.
