The Bird Count.
I posted a couple of weeks ago that I had recorded 35 Bird Species, so this is just to update the sightings.
36. Chiffchaff
37. Woodcock/ On Site then hiding amongst the grass near hide.
38. Oystercatcher
39.Jay
40. Collard Dove
41.Dunnock / Also Known as Hedge Sparrow.
42. Wood Pigeon
43. Mallard/ Male and Female on Pond near Hide.
44. Stock Dove
45. Grey Lag Goose/ Seen at the back of Hide lower fields.
46. Canada Goose/ Seen at the back of the Hide lower fields
And last night the Tawny Owl making 47 so far.
Birds Still to arrive.
April
We should see the arrival of the Swallow up at the Stables.
May
The Redstart and the Spotted Flycatcher could show done in the Hide area, and if we are really lucky the Bullfinch could make a return. Also the Blackcap may return. That would put us on 52 which is great for the site.
